Here’s a farewell song for us to play
Kildare Lake and Bob have gone away
We hardly got unpacked
To move in
Kitchen notwithstanding
I wish I was standing on that deck again

Indoor fires, stone chimney spire
They were artists with the tile
Downstairs cocktails, oven door fails
Dishwasher broke Yourmother’s knee
Can’t go back to Kildare Lake

Hear you’ve got some problems with the boat
How it works, now we’ll never know
Sure looked great with the lights
Late at night
A thousand pictures of it at the end
That boat we’ll never see again

Indoor fires, stone chimney spire
They were artists with the tile
Downstairs cocktails, oven door fails
Dishwasher broke Yourmother’s knee
Can’t go back to Kildare Lake

Feeling hot I’ll show you how this works
Spiral staircase among the other perks
A place Warren would have loved
He’d know why he’d come
Changing times remind us of how precious
Cabinweek has become

Indoor fires, stone chimney spire
They were artists with the tile
Downstairs cocktails, oven door fails
Dishwasher broke Yourmother’s knee
Can’t go back to Kildare Lake
